Chomping away: My Plants vs Zombies gameplay experience
I am making this blog for my son, Ayden. At the time I write this my son is actually playing a game called PLANTS VS ZOMBIES GARDEN WARFARE 2..He -- and I -- are addicted.
You see, when my son was born, I knew virtually nothing about this game. It was created about two years prior to my son's birth in 2011.
PVZ began in 2009 and was developed and published first by PopCap Games.. It was marketed primarily for Windows.
It's about a homeowner using plants to prevent armies of zombies from eating his brains. Crazy Uncle Dave to be exact. And really awesome magical plants, too..
In 2010 the game was released for the iPad.. and then rest was history.
Androids ..
Playstations.. Blackberrys (yes even though) and Nintendo DS..
Windows and MAC..
Free games came next.
Game play..

And with each passing game and plant, the whole universe of PLANTS VS ZOMBIES gets even better.

My son has also been collecting a vast amount of PVZ toys and games since his birth on a cold February day in 2011. Little tiny toys.. Big toys.. Downloads. And most recently the Playstation 4 versions.
I want to share my love of the story with people who are also in the same plant vain of thought: This may be one of the greatest games and most comically ridiculous storylines ever created.
If you don't know anything about PVZ.. you should. If you have a young child and don't know, you soon will.
